I received another call from my credit card company today.
They had seen a sudden increase in charges, all to the Breezid Auction site. So far, the little bastard had charged
over $3,000 in 'points' and he would have charged more if the credit card company had not put a hold against my
account!
It seems that the Little Bastard saw the ad for the new auction site on TV and thought he would see about buying
stuff to impress his skanks with. After all, the TV ad shows that bids are places in increments of just a penny! What
he did not realize, or care about, was that the 'points' that he bought were non refundable and it was not really a
penny auction like they advertise.
I found this out by going onto the breezid website and finding this little tidbit: Rights to bid in an auction (“bids”)
must be paid for by users prior to online bidding. Bids can be purchased in packages (“Bid Packs”) at the prices in
force at the time of purchase. Unexpired bids, from a Bid Pack or otherwise are not refundable.
So what happened was this. He bought one package, lost the bid. Not realizing that the points were still there, he
bought another package, then lost the bid again. He kept doing this over and over, racking up $3,000 in non refundable
bids, charges that I am now stuck with!
To make matters worse, the only bid he did win was that of a family of chihuahuas, all stuffed and mounted, that is
being sent out to my house this morning. An older eccentric lady never wanted to part with her pets, so she stuffed
each one as it passed away. When she died, her family put them up for auction, where the Little Bastard found them.
Leo and I need to sit down for a long talk about taking a TV commercial at face value! He may think that he is a funny
cat, but I have another word for it!
